Documents
Documents (
/artifacts) is where every file a Program produces lives — reports, drafts, spreadsheets, slide decks, HTML pages, and email drafts — browsable and editable outside any one room.
What Documents is
A Program's room is where you ask for something; Documents is where the thing it made actually lives afterward. Every artifact a room produces is saved here, independent of the conversation that created it, so you can find, reopen, and keep working on it later without hunting back through a room's history.
Opening one from Documents drops you into the same in-app editor a room would show you inline — nothing changes about how you work with it, only where you find it.

Provenance and lifecycle
Every document tracks provenance automatically: which Program and room produced it, which run, and when — so if a number looks wrong, you can trace it straight back to the work that generated it, no configuration required.
Some documents also carry an optional lifecycle — Spec → Outline → Drafting → Review → Final — for output that's built up in stages rather than produced in one shot. Simple notes and quick exports skip it entirely.
