Keep a web page in Knowledge
Use this when a web page holds information your rooms should know and it changes from time to time, like your own services page, a supplier's price list or an agency's bidding rules. Pencel keeps a readable copy in Knowledge and refreshes it on the schedule you choose.
Link a page
- Click Library in the left sidebar, then Add knowledge, then Web page.
- Paste the page address (starting with
https://). - Check the preview. It shows the page title, about how many words Pencel found and the import quality.
- Optionally, type a Display name. If you leave it blank, Pencel names it from the address.
- Choose a Sync schedule: Manual, Daily or Weekly.
- Optionally, tick Improve with AI after import to have Pencel tidy up the copy. This uses credits, so review the result before you rely on it.
- Click Link URL.
What you'll see
The page opens as a read-only copy with its headings, lists and paragraphs. A badge shows its quality (Good quality, Fair quality or Low quality) and when it last synced.

Daily and Weekly syncs run while Pencel is open.
Tips
- Pick a specific page. An article or policy page imports better than a home page full of menus and links.
- Low quality? Some sites build their pages in ways that are hard to read. Try Sync now again, or Improve import.
- Only need part of the page? Click Save as editable copy and trim it to the facts your rooms need.
- Decide who reads it. Like any Knowledge document, set Pencel reads it and Applies to so the page reaches only the rooms that need it.
